About The Club

1966 Jensen CV8 ImageThe Watford & District Classic Vehicle Club was formed in 1994 by two local enthusiasts Peter Batchelor and Doug May. With the Uxbridge & District Classic Vehicle Society and the Enfield District Veteran Vehicle Society they considered there was a gap between these two clubs, enough to create another one.1954 Renault 750 Image

The WDCVC exists to support anyone who owns a veteran, vintage or classic vehicle including commercials, a vehicle of special interest or simply an interest in the vehicle movement.

1961 E-Type Jag ImageMembership is open to all. You don't have to live in Watford, you don't even have to live in the UK. You don't need to even own a form of transport! All you need is enthusiasm. They hold regular meetings, have a bi-monthly magazine, and host and attend lots of shows throughout the year (see the SHOWS page on their website). So if you fancy meeting some super people and visiting some great places, please get in touch!

Supporting Charities

The WDCVT Ltd aims to raise funds and awareness of local and national charities and deserving causes by  exhibiting the classic, veteran and vintage vehicles of WDCVC members. The trust is regulated in accordance  with UK Law and will, with Charitable Status, be instructed with the guidelines laid down by the Charity  Commission for England and Wales.

The WDCVC have raised many thousands of pounds for worthwhile charities and they hope to continue to do so for many years to come. Here are just a few:
