Its important when selling any item to ensure you give an accurate description that tells the buyer everything they need to know.  Follow this simple guide to help you achieve that sale.

1 Name the Item
Identify the item you are selling by it's most common name.

2 Describe the Features
Describe the item by listing it's best features, such as physical condition, brand name, size, age, colour, rarity or it's history. 

3 Name a price
Always include the price. Many people will not respond if there is no indication how much the item is worth. If you are flexible, use the words "negotiable", "(ono) or near offer, or "best offer". 

4 Your Phone Number
End you ad. with your phone number, including area code and the best time to call. If you prefer an alternate method of contact, include your e-mail address.

Whatever you write, always remember to try and be honest and truthful.
